WHAT WE OFFER
- DOG WALKING
We offer daily 30 minute, 45 minute, or 1 hour-long walks.
We use whatever leash and/or harness you provide for the walk. For two dogs, we will use a special double lead that we will provide.
We cover the poo-bags and collapsible water bowls when necessary and owner-approved treats. While walking, we can work with your dog on any tricks or training to reinforce what you’ve already been working on at home!
We’ll take photos during our adventures to keep you updated and can give you a detailed report if requested!
- DROP-IN PET SITTING VISITS
We offer daily drop-in visits for 15-30 minutes and a Vacation Deal specifically for our cat clients that includes two daily visits each day you are out of town.
This is a great option for elderly dogs during your work week! We’ll stop in to quickly let them out for a potty break and some cuddles. Want us to feed them or give any medications? We can do that, too!
Also, a purrr-fect option if you would like your cat to get some attention throughout the day or if you are gone on a trip. We will fill food dishes, clean the litter box, or anything else that they might need.
Vacation Deal visits include daily feedings and medication distribution as needed. We can also water plants, put out garbage/recycling, and bring in mail if asked!
We’ll take photos during our visits and can keep you updated as much as requested.

We are comfortable handling multiple dog and cat breeds; specifically dogs from the Herding and Working breed groups, and are experienced working with fearful and reactive animals. Our previous job experience has trained us to properly administer medications as needed.

We have had pets for decades and this was our first experience using a pet service instead of friends. Tail Wags and Walks is priced just right and we will continue to use their services whenever we leave town! Having the security of leaving our pets at home was the peace of mind we needed. Tonya made the confirmation and registration process easy. In fact, she was way more thorough than we expected, because we had never used a pet service before. She was eager to learn about our pets, their ages, special needs and requests, and their personalities. She has a few forms for you to fill out, to assure every possible scenario is accounted for before you leave town. Tonya came to our home to get a tour, get a key, and to meet the pets the week before we left town. Again, she was thoroughly prepared, knew all of the pets names, and took extensive notes to prepare herself for our absence. She was quick and natural to get acquainted with each of our pets. Tonya is very friendly and easy to talk to, but also gets down to business so you and your family can continue to get ready for your trip! In addition to covering all aspects of pet feeding, cleaning, and care, Tail Wags & Walks left us feeling extremely confident leaving them to enter and exit our home while we were out of town. Then comes the best part- her updates and photos while you are away. Tonya was very timely with check ins and updates on her first visit to our home after we left. In fact, her pictures of our pets are better than anything I’ve ever taken!! We discussed every other day updates and Tonya did just that! It was sweet to see that all the pets at home were living their best life with Tonya! Again exceeding our expectations, Tonya made it to our home right after a snow & ice storm. As you can read, we are thoroughly impressed with Tonya and Tail Wags & Walks. We highly recommend this service and will certainly be booking with them again in 2026!

Tonya is the absolute best! Her love for animals was noted immediately when she walked in my house for the “meet and greet”. My 2 pups absolutely ADORE her and so do myself and my husband. I almost can’t wait to go on vacation just to hire her to house sit, dog and cat sit just because I KNOW she’s spoil them rotten during her stay! Hands down the best of the best.
